Position and Size

Learn how to add move your presenter character from right to left and change its size.

Character Positioning

Position tag

In order to control the position of the character on the screen you can use position tag.

The default positions of all characters is the right part of the screen. But, if you add the position tag with the value set to left, you can change the position of the character.

[position:left]

To illustrate this, we can start with the “Hi, my name is John Doe” as your speaker notes text.

Then we can add the position tag in the middle of sentence in your speaker notes.

Remember to set the position value to “left”.

Hi, my name is [position:left] John Doe

When we test our slide the character position will change as instructed.

Returning to the original position is just as easy. We can just add a position tag with value set to right to our speaker notes and it will be applied once the narration reaches it.

Hi, my name is [position:right] John Doe

Size tag

Just as you can change the character’s sprite or its position, you can also change its size.

By default, the size of the character is set to normal. You can change this easily to small, by adding the size tag.

[size:normal]
[size:small]

Let’s try adding the size tag to our “Hi, my name is John Doe” sentence

Hi, my name is [size:small] John Doe

Remember to set the size value to “small”. Returning to the original size is just as easy. We can just add a size tag with value set to normal to our speaker notes and it will be applied once the narration reaches it.

Hi, my name is [size:normal] John Doe
